Removal of non-official members – The Government may remove from office any non-official member of the Board who has become subject to any of the disqualifications specified in section 8 or who, in its opinion, is remiss in the discharge of his duties or has ceased to represent the interest to which he was nominated. Provided that no such member shall be removed from office except after being given a reasonable opportunity of showing cause against the action proposed.
