(1) If the Central Government is satisfied that it is necessary or SEbedvla expedient so to do, it may, by notification, amend Schcdulc 1 or Schcdule I1 or Schedule IU and thereupon Schedule 1 or Schedule I1 or Schedule 111, as the case may be, shall be deemed to have been amended accordingly.
