(I) The local authorities shall be responsible for the proper implementation ofrhis Ordinance in their respective areas. (2) %'ithoot prejudice to sub-senion (I), the State Government may assipn, by notification, additional responsibilities for implementation of the Targeted Public Distribution System to the local authority.
