Driving vehicles in contravention of section 3 or section 4. - Whoever drives a motor vehicle in contravention of section 3 or section 4 shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, or with both. Corresponding Law. – Section 181 corresponds to section 113 – B of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1939. Objects and Reasons. – Clause 181 prescribes penalty of imprisonment or fine or with both for persons driving a motor vehicle without a driving licence or when he has not attained the requirement age to drive a motor vehicle.
