(MADRAS ACT NO.XX OF 1940) The following Act received the assent of the Governor-General on the 11th January 1941 and was published in the Fort St. George Gazette on the 20th January 1941. An Act to amend the Indian Medical Degrees Act, 1961 in its application to the province of Madras for certain purpose. WHEREAS it s expedient to amend the Indian Medical Degrees Act, 1916,in its application to the province of Madras for the purpose hereinafter appearing.
