Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called The Goa, Daman and Diu Wild Animals and Wild Birds Protection Act, 1965. (2) It extends to the whole of the Union Territory of Goa, Daman and Diu. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government of Goa, Daman and Diu may, by notification in the Official Gazette appoint.
