Control by the Government.— (1) Every Planning and Development Authority shall carry out such directions as may be issued from time to time by the Government for the efficient administration of this Act. 81 Added vide Amendment Act 17 of 2017; published in the Official Gazette Series-I No.23(Extraordinary)dated 12-9- 2017.. 71 (2) If in, or in connection with, the exercise of its powers and discharge of its functions by any Planning and Development Authority under this Act, any dispute arises between the Planning and Development Authority and a local authority, it shall be referred to the decision of the Government.
