Power to compel attendance of witness etc.— For the purposes of this Act, an officer appointed under sub-section (1) of section 65 or the Board, may summon and enforce the attendance of witnesses including the parties interested or any of them and compel them to give evidence and compel the production of documents by the same means, and, as far as possible, in the same manner as is provided in the case of a civil court by the Central Act 5 of 1908. 68 Code of Civil Procedure.
