Schools eligible to send up candidates for examination (1) A recognized Secondary or a Higher Secondary School shall be eligible to send up candidates for the final examination for which such recognition has been granted to it by the Board subject to such conditions as may be specified from time to time by the Board. (2) A recognized Secondary or a Higher Secondary School – (i) Shall supply to the Board on or before the dates as may be fixed by the Board such returns and information as may be required; (ii) Shall maintain such registers and records as may be required by the Board from time to time; (iii) Shall afford all facilities and co-operation for the conduct of the final examination held by the Board; - 61 - (iv) Shall carry out and observe such instructions as may be issued by the Board from time to time. (3) The Board shall supply to all schools, recognized by them one copy each of the Rules and the syllabus with amendments one copy each of the bound sets of question papers with which the school is primarily concerned and a printed copy of results of the final examination as and when published. (4) For the supply of the publications mentioned in clause (3) above the Board shall charge a fee of Rs. 25/- in addition to registration fee as prescribed under Rule 23. The school concerned shall pay the fee so charged to the Board annually, when called upon to do so by the Secretary and in any case not later than 31st July of each year.
