Removal of 152[Chairperson] and 153[Vice-Chairperson].— (1) A 154[Chairperson] or a 155[Vice-Chairperson] shall cease to be 156[Chairperson] or 157 [Vice-Chairperson], as the case may be, if the Council by a resolution passed by a majority of the total number of Councillors 158[ ] at a special meeting so decides. (2) The requisition for such special meeting shall be signed by not less than 159[one- third] of the total number of Councillors 160[ ] and shall, if such meeting is to be convened for considering the resolution for removal from office — (a) of the 161[Chairperson], or of the 162[Chairperson] as well as the 163[Vice- Chairperson], be sent to the 164[Director]; (b) of the 165 [Vice-Chairperson] be sent to the, 166[Chairperson].
