Costs or expenses how determined and recovered.— If a dispute arises with respect to any costs or expenses which are by this Act directed to be paid, the amount, and, if necessary, the apportionment of the same, shall, save where it is otherwise Manual of Goa Laws (Vol. III) – 435 – Municipality Act expressly provided in this Act, be ascertained and determined by the Council and shall be recoverable in the same manner as an amount claimed on account of a property tax.
