Feeding animals on filth prohibited.— (1) No person shall feed or cause or permit to be fed any animal which is kept for dairy purposes or is intended for human food, on excrementitious matter, stable refuse, filth or other offensive matter. (2) Whoever contravenes any provision of sub-section (1) shall, on conviction, be punished with fine which may extend to 425[Five thousand rupees]. CHAPTER XXI Prosecutions, Suits and Powers of Police
