Using offensive manure, etc.— Whoever, except with the written permission of the Chief Officer, and in accordance with the conditions of such permission, stores or uses night-soil or other manure or substance emitting an offensive smell in such manner as to be a nuisance to the neighbourhood shall, on conviction, be punished with fine which may extend to 384[Five thousand rupees].
