When building or land deemed to be productive of rent.— For the purposes of clause (a) of sub-section (2) of the last preceding section, a building or land shall be Manual of Goa Laws (Vol. III) – 348 – Municipality Act deemed to be productive of rent, if let to a tenant who has a continuing right of occupation thereof, whether it is actually occupied by such tenant or not.
