Government’s power to give directions.— (1) Government shall have powers to issue directions or orders to the Mamlatdar and the Collector to give effect to the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder. (2) Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, Government may (a) call for returns; (b) direct the transfer at any stage of any suit or proceeding from one Mamlatdar’s Court to another Mamlatdar’s Court in the same district; (c) issue such general directions and provide for regulating the practice and procedure of Mamlatdars’ Courts.
