Inspecting Officer.— (1) Any Officer of the Electricity Department not below the rank of an Assistant Engineer shall be Inspector for the purposes of this Act. (2) Every Inspector shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (Central Act 45 of 1860).
