Notification No. 10/7/87-RD dated 25-7-1989. Manual of Goa Laws (Vol. I) – 536 – Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act Notification 10/3/89-RD (Admn) In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 41 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1968 (Act 2 of 1969) (hereinafter referred to as the “said Act”) the Government of Goa hereby appoints the Deputy Collector, Margao (District Level Rent Court) and the Addl. Deputy Collector, Vasco, as Authorised Officers and Controllers for the purposes of the said Act, with immediate effect. Further, in pursuance of sub-section (3) of section 41 of the said Act, the Government of Goa hereby directs that the Deputy Collector, Margao (District Level Rent Court) with headquarters at Margao, shall perform the functions of an authorised Officer and a Controller under the said Act within the Talukas of Salcete, Quepem, Sanguem and Canacona and the Additional Deputy Collector, Vasco with headquarters at Vasco, shall perform the functions of an Authorised Officer and a Controller under the said Act within the Taluka of Mormugao, with immediate effect.
