Officers to be public servants.— All officers acting under this Act shall be deemed to be public servants, within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act 45 of 1860) and the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947 (Central Act 2 of 1947).
