Interpretation.— If any question arises relating to the interpretation of these rules, it shall be referred for decision to the Central Government and thereupon the Central Government shall decide the same. 8[20A. Rules to apply to persons absorbed in Defence establishments.—.The provisions of these rules shall apply to an absorbed employee who is serving on the appointed day in a Defence establishment subject to the following modifications, namely:— (a) The reference to Central Rules shall be construed as references to the rules relating to conditions of service generally applicable to civilians in Defence Services; and (b) The reference to the Revised Leave Rules, 1933, in rule 6 shall be construed as a reference to the Leave Rules for civilians in Defence Services.]”;
