One Police Force for the 3[whole of the 4[State of Maharashtra]. There shall be one police force for the 3[State of Maharashtra]; Provided that the members of the Police Forces constituted under any of the Acts mentioned in Schedule I, immediately before the coming into force of this Act 5[in the relevant part of the State] shall be deemed to be the members of the said police Force.
