Certificate of appointment. (1) Every Police officer 1[* * *] 2[of the grade of Inspector or below], shall on appointment receive a certificate in form provided in Schedule II. The certificate shall be issued under the seal of such officer as the State Government may, by general or special order direct. (2) A certificate of appointment shall become null and void whenever person named therein ceases to belong to the Police Force or shall remain inoperative during the period within which such person is suspended from such force.
