Management and Utilization of the Fund (1) Central Government may from time to time fix an amount to be known as the corpus of the Fund; (2) An amount equal to the corpus shall be invested in such manner as may be prescribed and shall not be spent, except with the prior approval of the Central Government. (3) All moneys belonging to the Fund shall be deposited in such banks or invested in such manner as the Governing body, may, subject to the general guidelines of the Central Government, decide. (4) Amounts in excess of the corpus, including the interest accruing on the corpus, may be spent for one or more of the following purposes in relation to persons with disabilities: 78 (i) education, health and rehabilitation (ii) vocational training and employment (iii) generation of awareness (iv) administrative and other expenses of the Fund, as may be required to be incurred by or under this Act, and (v) such other purposes as may be prescribed. 93 New Provision
