Section 104

This Act has been repealed — see The Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (from 2024-07-01). The prior text continues to govern matters arising before that date.

Power to impound document, etc., produced

The CrPC 1973 was replaced by the BNSS 2023 (in force 2024-07-01); no verified section mapping on file for Section 104 — confirm the corresponding provision (savings: Section 531, BNSS 2023).

Any Court may, if it thinks fit, impound any document or thing produced before it under this Code.
