Short title, extent and commencement. - (1) This Act may be called the Punjab Passengers and Goods Taxation Act, 1952. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Haryana. (3) It shall come into force on the first day of August, 1952 [in the principal territories and on the 24th May, 1957, in the transferred territories.] Object & Reasons
