- S. 1(1) This Act may be called the Punjab Instru- ments (Control of Noises) Act, 1956
- S. 2Section 2 defines "instrument" as a loudspeaker or other sound-amplifying apparatus restricted by the Central Government under the Punjab Instrument (Control of Noises) Act, 1956.
