Filling of vacancies. — (1) Vacancies in the office of 1[appointed] or elected members of the Corporation, the Standing Committee Medical Benefit Council shall be filled by 2[appointment] or election, as the case may be. (2) A member of the Corporation, the Standing Committee or the Medical Benefit Council 1[appointed] or elected to fill a casual vacancy shall hold office only so long as the member in whose place he is 1[appointed] or elected would have been entitled to hold office if the vacancy had not occurred. 9
