(f) The [Central Government] may either bY veterinary name or designation appoint any person holding -the office Surgeons. of Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Assistant Surgeon, or any graduate of a recognised veterinary college whom they think fitto bea Veterinary Surgeon for the purposes of this Act, and may define the area within which he shall exercise the powers and perform the dutiesof a Veterinary Surgeon under this Act.
