(J) No suit, prosecution or legal proceedings ofi,‘;,,g{. shall lie against the 2[Central Government] or any officer of ines. the ?[Central Government] in respect of anything in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act or for any damage to property caused by any action taken in good faith in carrying out the provisions of this Act. (2) No prosecution under this Act shall be commenc- ed without the previous sanction of the Collector or other officer authorised by the *[Central Government] in this behalf nor after three months from the date of the commis- sion of the alleged offence.
