In section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, in sub-section (3), after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- "Provided further that the statement ofa woman against whom an offence under section 354, section 354A, section 354B, section 354C, section 3540, section 376, section 376A, section 376B, section 376C, section 3760, section 376Eorsection 509 of the Indian Penal Code is alleged to have been committedorattempted shall berecorded, by a woman police officer or any woman officer.".
