In section 54A ofthe Code ofCriminal Procedure, the following provisos shall be inserted, namely:- "Provided that, if the person identifying the person arrested is mentally or. physically disabled, such process of identification shall take place under the supervision ofa Judicial Magistrate who shall take appropriate steps to ensure that such person identifies the person arrested using methods that person is comfortable with: SEC. 1] THE GAZETTE OF INDIAEXTRAORDINARY 9 45 of 1860. 45 of 1860. 45 of 1860. 45 of 1860. Provided further that ifthe person identifying the person arrested is mentally or physically disabled, the identification process shall be videographed.".
