a) To obtain funds in MHA to supplement and support the Victim Compensation Schemes notified by the States/UT Administrations. b) To provide special financial assistance up to Rs. 5.00 lakhs to the victims of Acid attack to meet treatment expenses over and above the compensation paid by the respective States/UT Administrations. Using this provision, a cashless treatment mechanism for victims of Acid Attack will be formulated by respective states/UTs.
