(1) The Executive Council shall consist of the following persons, namely:- (a) Vice-Chancellor shall be the Chairperson; (b) two Deans of the School of Studies by rotation according to the seniority; (c) one Professor, other than a Dean by rotation according to seniority; (d) one Associate Professor by rotation according to seniority; (e) two members of the Court, none of whom shall be an employee of the University or a college or an institution affiliated to or recognised by the University; (f) one representative from the University Grants Commission; (g) three eminent academics nominated by the Visitor; (h) two eminent academics in the field of Sanskrit and allied subjects to be nominated by the Central Government on the recommendations of the Vice-Chancellor; (i) Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Human Resources Development looking after the University; (j) the Registrar of the University shall be the Secretary of the Executive Council. (2) All the members of the Executive Council, other than ex officio members shall hold office for a term of three years. (3) Seven members of the Executive Council shall form a quorum for a meeting of the Executive Council and it shall meet at least thrice in a year.
