(1) Whenever the Court of Wards assumes the superintendence of the property of any person under this Act, the fact of such assumption, and the date on which it was sanctioned by the Local Government, shall be notified in the local official Gazette. (2) On and with effect from the date of such sanction, the whole of the property, moveable or immoveable, of such person, whether the existence of any such property may be known to the said Court or not, shall be deemed to be under the superintendence of the Court of Wards. (3) Any property which the Government ward may inherit subsequently to the date of such sanction, shall also be deemed to be under the superintendence of the Court of Wards. (4) The Court of Wards may, in its discretion, assume, or refrain from assuming, the superintendence of any property which the ward may acquire, otherwise than by inheritance subsequently to the date of such notification.
