Section 60

Procedure to be followed where any party does not appear

Where, on the date fixed for hearing or any other date to which such hearing may be adjourned, any of the parties or his authorised agent or representative does not appear when the matter is called for hearing, the Commission may, in its discretion, either dismiss the petition for default when the petitioner or the person who moves the Commission for hearing is in default or proceed ex parte.
