The Executive Council.— a. The Executive Council shall be the principal executive body of the University. b. The Executive Council shall consist of the following person; namely (i) The Vice-Chancellor of the University (ii) Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary /Secretary, Department of Health, Government of Bihar or his 33 ॢबहर गजट [सधरण' 9 अग त 2021 representative not below the rank of Joint Secretary; (iii) Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary/ Secretary, Department of Education, Government of Bihar or his representative not below the rank of Joint Secretary; (iv) Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary /Secretary, Department of Finance, Government of Bihar or his representative not below the rank of Joint Secretary; (v) Director in Chief, Medical Education, Government of Bihar. (vi) Director in Chief, Paramedical and Nursing, Government of Bihar; (vii) The Registrar of the University; (viii) Three teachers to be nominated by the Chancellor of whom, one shall be from amongst Heads of Department, one from Professors and one from Associate Professors by rotation for a period of one year Government Medical/other colleges. c. The Vice-Chancellor shall be the chairman of the Executive Council. (i) Where a person has become a member of the Executive Council by reason of the office or appointment he holds, his membership shall terminate when he ceases to hold that office or appointment;
