Discount-37/2016-2707, dated the 1st June, 2016.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, the Governor of Bihar is pleased to give discount of 1% (one percent), maximum upto Rs. 2,000/ - (Rupees Two Thousand) only in the amount of payable stamp duty on online payment of stamp duty under the online registration process.
