Amendment in Section-2 . & In Section-2 after Sub-Section (xxv), a following new Sub-Section (xxvi) shall be added:- "(xxvi) "Settlement Officer" means the Settlement Officer of the district or any other Officer authorized by the Government to discharge the functions of the Settlement Officer of a district."
