Notice of termination of employment by employee.—(1) No employee shall terminate his employment unless he has given to his employer a notice of at least one month. (2) Where an employee contravenes the provision of sub-section (1), his employer may forfeit any unpaid wages for a period not exceeding fifteen days. Comments & Case-law [The provisions of section 27 have been ingrafted for the protection of the interest of the employer and there is no law which debars the employer from waiving his rights conferred by the provisions of section 27.
