Powers and duties of Vice-Chairman. – (1) The Vice-Chairman shall be the presiding officer of the meetings of the Board in the absence of the Chairman. (2) The financial and administrative powers of the Vice-Chairman shall be such as enumerated in Appendix-1. In the absence of Vice-Chairman, the financial and administrative power of the Vice-Chairman may be exercised by the Chairman. (3) The Chairman may delegate any of his power and functions to the Vice- Chairman including his financial and/or administrative powers. In addition, the Chairman may assign any other work or function to the Vice-Chairman.
