Officers of the Board.— (1) The following shall be the officers of the Board, namely- (i) Chairman, (ii) Vice-Chairman, (iii) Secretary, (iv) Head of Department (HoD) of different wings, as defined in sub-section (2) of this section, (v) Such other officers as mentioned in Appendix-2, (vi) Such other officers as may be prescribed by Rules made under this Act or as may be decided by the Board, from time to time. (2) The following officers of the Board shall be the Head of the Department (HoD) of their respective wings, namely: - (i) Director (Academics)-Academic Wing (ii) Chief Vigilance Officer -Vigilance Wing (iii) Controller of Examination, Secondary- Secondary Examination Wing (iv) Controller of Examination, Senior Secondary- Senior Secondary Examination Wing (v) Controller of Examination, Miscellaneous,- Miscellaneous Examination Wing (vi) Director (Information Technology)-Information Technology Wing (3) The financial and administrative powers of HoDs of different wings shall be such as enumerated in Appendix-1. Provided that the post of officers of the Board, may be filled up by deputation also from the officers of the State or Central Government.
