Service of notice on landlord.- Every notice required by this Act to be served on a landlord shall, if served on an agent empowered by a written authority under the hand of the landlord to accept service of or receive the same on behalf of the landlord, be as effectual for the purposes of this Act as if it had been served on the landlord in person.
