Substitution of section-84 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.— Section-84 (Special Courts) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 shall be substituted by the following:- "84- Trial by Special Courts - (1) All Special Courts shall be exclusive and shall only try offences under this Act. (2) The trial under this Act of any offence by the Special Court shall have precedence over the trial of any other case against the accused in any other Court (not being a Special Court) and shall be concluded in preference to the trial of such other case. 13 ॢबहर गजट [सधरण' 1 [ ल 2022 (3) All trials and proceedings under the Bihar Excise Act, 1915 (Bihar & Orissa Act II of 1915), pending in any other Court, before the commencement of this Act, shall stand transferred to the Special Courts. (4) Special Court shall complete the trial, as far as possible, within a period of one year from the date of submission of the chargesheet."
