Power to arrest or detain without warrant.—(1) Any of the officers mentioned in Section-73 may arrest or detain, without warrant, any person and/or any vehicle, animal, means of conveyance, at any time of day and night, found committing an offence or attempting to commit an offence punishable under any provision of this Act. (2) All arrests made under this section must be reported to the Collector forthwith.
