Officers to be public servants – Every Veterinary Officers, every officer and person authorized by the Veterinary Officer and all persons entrusted with the performance of any duty under the provisions of this Act or the rules made there under shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (XLV of 1860).
