Amendment of Section-91 of the Bihar Act 6, 2006.—(i) In the second paragraph of section-91(1) of the Act, the words "after two consecutives general elections" shall be inserted after the words "in the prescribed manner." (ii) In second sentence of third paragraph of section-91(1) of the Act, the words "after two consecutive general elections" shall be inserted after the words "during subsequent elections." (iii) In section-91(4) of the Act, the words "after two consecutive general elections" shall be inserted after the words "in such manner as may be prescribed." 11 बहार गजट (असाधारण)] 8 िसत, बर 2009 (iv) After sub-section - (4) of section – 91 of the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006 the following explanation shall be inserted :- "Explanation — For the removal of doubts it is, hereby, declared that the principle of rotation for the purpose of reservation of offices for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward classes, Women of Backward classes and Women of unreserved category under this sub-section shall commence from the first election held after the commencement of the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006."
