Resignation of Members- An elected member of Zila Parishad may resign his membership in writing under his hand addressed to the Adhyaksha of the Zila Parishad and his seat shall become vacant on the expiry of seven clear days from the date of such resignation unless within the said period of seven days he withdraws such resignation by writing under his hand addressed to the Adhyaksha.
