Powers and functions of the employees of Panchayat - Subject to the provisions of the Act, the rules framed thereunder and to any general or special direction given by the State Government in that respect, the officers and employees employed by the Panchayat and the officer and employees whose services have been placed at the disposal of the Panchayat by the State Government shall exercise such powers, perform such functions and discharge such duties, as the Panchayat may determine.
