Term of Office of Mukhiya and Up-Mukhiya — The term of office of Mukhiya and Up-Mukhiya of the Gram Panchayat shall, save as otherwise 16 provided in this Act, cease on the expiry of his term of office as a member of the Gram Panchayat.
