Authorities to have power of civil court.—Under this Act the Collector, Additional Collector, the Land Reforms Deputy Collector and the Circle Officer shall have same powers in admission of evidence, making enquiries, summoning and enforcing the attendance of any person and examining him on oaths, compelling the production of documents and award of costs as are vested in the Court under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
