Reasons to be recorded for delay in disposal of mutation petitions.—In cases where mutation petitions have not been disposed of within the time limit provided under the foregoing sections, the Circle Officer shall record reasons for the delay in the order-sheet of the case-record which will be subject to scrutiny by the Collector of the District in the prescribed manner.
